hello! haha. i promised myself that i will come back to blog about my birthday,but its seriously a whole chunk of it, so im planning to do so next time(haha). anyway yesterday was my first emerge youth meeting, and i was really blessed by it! the hall was packed with all the youths and i just felt so touched at that point in time. i can still rmb clearly the passion and hunger i had for the revival in ahs. and yesterday in the hall, i felt that passion x100000000 . it was awesome! and the presence of God was really strong! God spoke. about my triumphs, failures, and about the different things that happened. and i caught what He wanted to say (: did you know that i was part of the parade of schools in the first emerge in chc? hahhaha. that time it wasnt north south east west cluster, but it was by schools! not all the schools participated and i rmbed that st hilda's was another school that participated. i was representating anglican and if you saw our performance, you will totally agree that POS came a really long way! i remebered that our first cheer was in chinese and we had no stunts at all! oh plus we performed in our uniforms! hahha! ! performancewise certainly not as polished and professional as now, but thinking back its really funny on a totally different note, i'll be going bangkok for a shopping trip tmr! (: going with angel shannen david darren and some others, and seriously we are like a mini tour group. we have 11 people coming! hahhaa. i have no idea how we're gonna move around but im really excited for the trip. so if yuo want to get anything from bkk, just drop me a message okay i will look out for you. haha. alright, ive gotta go do up some stuff for the noise showcase. update more on that the next time! zaijian!

today i went for a minor operation on my left foot. it is really lame. but anyway the story goes like this. yesterday night i was about to go to bed and i wanted to adjust the aircon temperature. so for some reason, i decided to glide over to the air con area. and then... a wooden chip from the wooden tiles on my floor got stucked in my foot. like you know those splinters you get when you accidentally touch some old rotten wood. yar except that mine was like the size of 1/3 of a pen. haha. so it looked pretty deep but i thought that maybe i could like somehow pull it out myself. so i tried, and it resulted in like a huge blood loss. so anyway to cut the long story short. i was sleepy , so i went to bed with the piece of foreign body stuck to my leg. haha. next morning my mum came over and told me i need to go to the hospital for a minor op to get that thing out. partly excited, partly scared. SO, fast forward. . i had to lie heads down in a mini operating theater. and i think if someone took a picture there and then, it wouldve looked pretty lame cos 1 doctor and 2 nurses were operating on my left foot. ... so now i have a bandaged left foot. i hope no one will ask me about the injury because i think the story is very long btw, it was very ticklish. ha ha ha.

 this is my amazingly crazy friends. this will be our msn and facebook dp for 1 entire week. haha . this is my friend . her name is tingting. she has clip on extensions. and she is veli pweety we had this joke that she will only find her boyfriend when her hair is this long. so either she wait for like 2 years for her hair to grow that long or go for extensions. this is the owner of the clip on extensions. her long hair is also fake. hahaha. her name is angelina ---------------------------------------------------------------  and this is the inspiration for the hairstyles in the next 3 pictures. look like anot? HAHHAHA abit right. so anyway yesterday we hung out after the longest time, since we are all finally free from what we were busy with . and it was also our first inaugural christmas meeting. christmas meeting is an annual meeting for exclusive kids like us (including cally who wasnt free) to come tgt to discuss about our christmas gift plans. but anyway as you can see from the pictures, we digressed and went on to tie our hair, clip on the extensions and pose for pictures. and when we finally got down to starting the meeting, ting and yulan fell asleep ... and then after finally deciding on what to get, we headed over to shengsiong to get the _____. (so exciting right. you all dont know what it is. i think most of you people reading this blog now will get the present so dont worry. ) and just for the record. the _____ weighed 90kg in total. yes . 90 kg. and we are like 4 frail ladies. so what to do? angel's dad drove his huuuuge lorry to pick us up!!! it was my first time on a lorry! it is really very exciting!with all the wind blowing . and waving to people on the streets. and slight lorry-sickness. i was telling them that im gonna have a lorry birthday party one day. and we'll have buffet and cake cutting on the lorry. hahaha i think it will really end up to be some pukefest. anyway, so now all you cool kidzx have another reason to look forward to christmas (: okay i gtg do my work. zaijian. and 2 nights of overnighting at airport chionging work with shenna montana and izak was quite crazy. the lady at tosto plugged out shenna montana's com, and her essay was gone just like that. if i were her i think i wouldve cried or something. i have my essay to complete and an a2 typo assignment to finish. after that im free. i cant wait. meanwhile. pls wait patiently , i'll be back to update on my recent happenings and my jkt trip. i know it was a month ago. aiya but the pictures are alrdy in the draft. so anyway i need to do work soon. im gonna grab some food. i havent eaten since last night. !!! ok sayonara people Thursday, October 23, 2008

IM GOING FOR A HOLIDAY!!! oh yea oh yea. while many of you start school, im going for a holiday! woohoo. hahah .ok but actually its not some dream holiday destination. im going to Jakarta! supposedly the shopping capital of indonesia, thats what the tourism board of indonesia says, i hope it lives up to the name. zzz. im going there with a cousin that i sincerely dont really know very well. you know that awkwardness, omg i have to bear with that for 6 days, and shes not even my age. shes erm around 30? oh man i think shes gonna keep talking and asking me questions. you know how adults always like to ask this ask that. i think my mum is sending her as a spy to come and pretend pretend to be my best friend, hear my problems, and see whether i have a boyfriend! AHA! THAT MUST BE WHY SHES SO WILLING TO LET ME GO ON THE TRIP. I NEED TO BE CAREFUL! anyway, she has this chain of beauty salons in jakarta,so im quite excited to get some pampering. oh yes, and you know right, i was being nice, talking to zhou on msn, and telling her im leaving tmr morning. and this was her reply zhou ( too much inspiration is no inspiration ) says: hope you get bombed SO MEAN RIGHT! i dont know why i have friends like that man seriously. aiya but i know secretly she will feel that something is missing in her life. AHAHAHHAHHA. ok so funny. and i was telling jiahui that im going to jakarta and she said /Jiahui Jiahui Jiahui says: whoo hoo. where is jakarta? ... /Jiahui Jiahui Jiahui says: jakarta sounds liek. /Jiahui Jiahui Jiahui says: its in /Jiahui Jiahui Jiahui says: japan. HAAHHA my friend is sucha noob. ------------------------------------------------------- oh and just awhile ago, angel huiying and cally were at my place and we da baoed japanese food for dinner. had a good time laughing and talking about how to lose weight. lol. and huiying is getting back her promo papers tmr, i hope you'll do well! (: anyway i promised to blog about artsingapore. HAHA but no pictures. cos i didnt bring my camera and for some reason they only took a few pictures during the exhibition, so no point. but it was a really cool exhibition. we initially thought that it would be dead boring, but it turned out to be pretty good. it was basically an exhibition of paintings and stuff like that from asia. see sounds boring right. but i tell you, those artists really can draw man. im not even kidding. their paintings looked so much like photographs. and we all agreed that we are very inspired to draw and paint after the exhibition. and every single piece of art work is at least worth a few thousands. and some of them are like $60,000 that kind. wa can you imagine you sell one painting and its equivalent to someone's one year salary. shiok leh and so, after the inspiring art exhibition, we went to marina square's hotpot culture for dinner.  this is zhou's seafood set. its $7.80 and its quite goood. i had beef set, eric had chicken set and mag had pork set.  we ordered some sides. it looks very delicious here. but it was actly pretty bad  this picture looks really appetizing to me. we had like 1 pot each. theres hot and spicy, herbal chicken, chicken and another hot and spicy
it is really really funny actly. i had such a good time laughing .HAHA. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO since i will be gone for 6 days, lets play the association game on my tagboard!!!!! omg my tag board is so interactive!! im having a really bad sunburn from yesterday's sentosa trip! oh man my shoulders are still super red. and its hurting really badly! ): this is my first time ever getting a sunburn man.my dad told me to keep applying the nivea moisturizer, which ive been doing very faithfully. zzz i dowannnnaaa be tannnned.......................................... but nonetheless,we had alot of fun! we started off with this game of shaving balloons. we were divided into groups and we had to spam the balloons with shaving cream and use a really sharp blade to 'shave' the balloon! it was so hilarious cos if the balloons burst, the shaving cream will splat right on your face! haha. anyway our team won! look at the losers' forfeit!  this is jian guang before  this is jianguang after haha poor thing      this is marwin. he is the main person to blame for all the shaving cream on tingting, and some of the others. haha. OH then we had soccer. and because there were only 4 girls, the game had a twist that only the girls can score. haha.i think the guys were secretly scolding us in their heart cos we were screaming at the ball half the time. and guess what! i scored! HAHA  after the soccer game, most of them went into the water to play 'monkey' and volleyball while i sat on the beach , looking after the bags(HAHA) .suddenly i realized this huge commotion. turns out that they stripped 2 of the poor guys !  HAHA it is actly quite funny   there you go, the 2 victims.thank God the water was murky. i wouldnt want to see whats under the water well, sitting around got bored after awhile. so we began to bury people! haha.  thats jianyong on the far right. he was studying hard for his theory exam later in the afternoon . which he passed. woohoo i hope he drives soon. i joined in the fun!! look! mermaid mermaid!! look! 2 mermaids! (is a male mermaid called a mermaid? nvm lets call him a manmaid.)and as you can see ,my feet ,or in fact my whole leg was trapped in that thick pile of sand. thats when i got really badly toasted in the sun. oh yar, and the whole mermaid thing was done by lewis , the manmaid in the picture. very cool right  benquek had to do this forfeit thing . carry the signage and run around. haha i have no idea why  haha the sun was too strong, i was supposed to take a full length picture of him. ended up with him headless  another funny forfeit. he had to say hello to the lifeguardoh yes oh yess, do you know he's 193cm! thats really tall man. almost 2m leh. yep. so the sentosa trip concluded with all of us sun burnt. haha had our dinner at vivo and headed home after that. i hope my burns get better ): cellgroup tmr, and going for this artsingapore exhibition tmr with zpgy. bye bye! (: p.s. did you all notice in the david beckham picture, one of his tattoos has tingting's face on it? HAHAH. i laughed at my computer screen for about 5 seconds when i saw it .LOL.
