i had my best birthday this year, so i realized that maybe 18 isnt that bad after all huh? heh

so, first was valentine's night spent with lina, larry ,edison, wan ting, mus and melvin. i think we had alot of fun, guessing stupid games , playing, laughing and just entertaining ourselves, ha melvin is awfully funny i tell you .

anyway they were so sweet to celebrate my birthday with me on valentine's day , actly more like they didnt really have a valentine, lol we spent it at this riverside place next to the indoor stadium .. probably the only few places in singapore not infested with couples. ahha

i got a pop art camera as a bday present from them !! love it alot,! and i think that theyre so thoughtful cos they got me manymany films too haha

this is edison and a new friend, wan ting. i have a feeling i'll see alot more of her in the future. muahahha if you know what i mean

spent my birthday countdown on the cab home with edison wanting and lina. the flash was too strong thats why .haha

anyway i really really want to say a hugeee thankyou to all of them, ! for being such great and fun friends and i cant believe you're all gonna be my senior this year!! haha and i think orientation's gonna rock because of all of you. lol

my birthday

bad start part 1

i had throat inflammation that morning, and decided not to go to work . thats really sad cos i dont think anybody falls sick on their birthday .

bad start part 2

so, presuming i went to work, ting rushed down all the way from expo to aljunied during her 1 hour lunch break to surprise me , and ,to her horror when i told her i was at home, she was totally '!!!!!' , and i felt so bad cos she wasted her trip down!! so i apologized and less than half an hour later, i see her at my place!! she took a cab down to my place to visit me ,! wow

im really so touched by her gesture , because i know that shes not a 'surprise' kinda person, and the fact that she was willing to spend so much to cab all the way down just to make me feel special on my birthday really really touched me (:

so anyway i started receiving many anonymous callers calling to sing me birthday songs,, and refusing to tell who they are,. except numbering themselves from 1- 18 . plus they're alll different people so i was really confused .! but at the same time excited because if you know me, i love to be surprised hahahaha

so anyway the mysterious mastermind behind all these was none other than ........ tingting!!!! ah i was so touched by her !like after the surprise show up at my house, and then this! it was so so sweet and creative ! and i bet it was alot of effort coordinating everyone to call at the right time and convincing them to sing me birthday songs, haha just for the record, here's the list of anonymous callers .haha

haha if i knew who they were i'd be laughing very hard la. lol and i dont know why its all guys, ask tingting.

bday dinner was at thai express. with yulan ting huiying and angel. its so weird without cally, felt like something/one was missing . ha anyway cally was at jakarta on her squash holiday +friendlies., and she gave me a call all the way from jakarta! ah!!! felt your love cally loy!!! thankyou (: i think my birthday would have been even more perfect if cally was around ,

nevertheless, it was a cosy dinner filled with plenty of laughters. (:

and i had 10 wishes. lol

and after the dinner, went over to plaza sing to meet shannen for hugs and presents heh heh heh, and thankyou so much k shannen low, for making the effort to come down to meet me, and the 2 very adorable and thoughtful presents. and seriously, you make the nicest cards in the world. !!!

and i felt the sincerity and love when i read your card , thankyou for everything shannennnn!!! and we'll still catch our movie ok! promise!

so, my supposed last item on my 'birthday programme list' ended here.

when i was on the way up the stairs, i saw an arrow pasted on the wall.

" follow me ying2" it says

so, betting that this ying2 was me, i followed the directions, and instructions, haha and i got lost. but, iwas so sure that someone must be spying and checking that im going the right way.. but who? .

well , i randomly thought that it might be ting they all, so i gave her a call, she denied at first , but after my relentless callings, and my inability to find the next connecting arrow, she kinda gave up and told me the location for the 1st present .hhaha. it was so exciting finding my presents. haha. then i followed the next clue to the carpark, and to the playground.etcetc according to them , i was very 'lousy', but i srsly beg to differ, you shouldve seen the clues la!! totally ambiguous and unclear. haha .

i later found out that my mum had a part in helping them hide their shoes in the storeroom and let them into my room. lol and she was rather enthusiastic at it too. haha

and so, i was greeted with a huge delicious cheesecake and the last birthday song as i walked into my room (:

this is the first time they planned a surprise for me , and even tho its not perfectly executed, i just felt so loved by them.

usually i dont get birthday surprises from these people, haha but this time i was genuinely genuinely surprised by them . thankyou you all, ting huiying yulan angel

and to all who gave me their birthday wishes, or sang me a birthday song, or gave me a nice present , i just want to say thankyou for remembering me, more so for remembering that its my birthday (:
