these are new friends that i met. left is de yang, my group member. and right is shin . she's from design school too!!

the boat ride was pretty fast . i think less than 10 minutes? anyway theres alot of dogs at pulau ubin. but they all look very sleepy, for some reason. they dont bark. they dont run. they just walk around aimlessly

the car plates start with PU = pulau ubin . haha quite cool right. and its green in colour. how did they even get the car on the island man. and im guessing that people who own cars on the island are mega rich. IS IT REAL ? $2 ? apparently its real. i think cycling the entire day at pulau ubin is $2 . which is really cheap. one hour in ecp is like $5? and maybe if the uncle is nice he will give you an extra hour. cycling at ubin will cost you $2.5(boat ride to ubin)+$2+$2.5(boatride back) = $7 . still quite cheap. plus im getting bored of ecp, we're always cycling along the same track. so conclusion :go cycling at ubin next time!

we had some ice breaking games. we had to go around to play scissors paper stones with people and when you win you go up one level , but when you lose you go down one level. we all started as eggs. and progress to chicken, turkey, eagle, phoenix , then angel, meaning you reach nirvana alrdy.

shortly after, we set off on our bikes to our first station of the day. it was at this place called chamar or something. by the beach.

we lost the first challenge, so we had to stay on the beach to wait for the next team to come challenge us. so sad la

we are team 2!! thats us and cedric, the station master of that station.

anyway, while we were standing around talking to cedric or something, matthew(the photographer of the day, also my team member haha) told us not to move cos our poses were very 'heroes'

talking about heroes, my favourite show on tv is back with its 3rd season. in fact the first and second episode aired last week. i really love this show man. even with gossip girl, heroes is still my favourite show on tv. ok not really tv, erm internet.

ok back to pulau ubin.

while waiting for the next team to come, we played really fun games like oohm ohmm chucky , and this di di di game. hahah its really fun! next time i teach you all

so we waited for almost an hour for the next team to arrive. the next challenge was to carry a bucket filled with water to the finishingg line. using our feet only! so we had to sit in a circle and use our feet to lift up and push the bucket and make our way to the finishing line. OHYES glenn wass surprisingly at the race too! and his team competed against our team. our team won of course. HAHA. i seriously felt like i was giving birth while playing that game. cos we had to push really hard and i was 1 of the 2 people who were pushing the pail, had to use sooo much strength.

and so,since we won, we could finally get out of that station . decided to take a short cut , through some ulu road. and since collin(another grp member) was kinda familiar with pulau ubin, we decided to be adventurous. hhaha we really very gei kiang. cos the road was like super bumpy and muddy. zhou's bike got stucked in a puddle of mud. hahaha.

the game ended shortly after . and when we went back we realized everyone was really clean. our group , in comparision looks very cui .the guys took off their shoes and cycled barefooted. and the girls had mud all over. LOL

and thats not all. we realized there were more games! . first game was this realllllllly crazy caterpillar game. we had to wrap our legs on the waist of the person sitting in front of us and make our way to the finishing point by sliding and pushing . we literally cleaned the floor with our butt. haha. i was laughing so badly cos i didnt kiap tight enough, so our caterpillar kept breaking . haha. obviously we didnt win . and my shorts almost tore. hahaha

after that was another group game. the balloon stepping game. i dont know why but we had so much fun at this game. we had a super good strategy. and we had 4 people standing in the final 5 . and they all attacked the poor guy who wasnt from our group. hahah. we won!!
one of our strategies: ally with another team , and pretend you two are stepping on each others' balloons. then no one else will come to try and step on yours.

cool right. i thought of it .muahah

that was our last game. had to leave cos pulau ubin's last boat was at 6pm.

we had the results and prize giving at the pier. we were all sitting around and not really expecting to win cos erm, we only won 1 challenge ,and the balloon bursting game . but omg WE WON. YES WE WON THE $100 SAKAE VOUCHERS. when cedric announced we were all stunned for one second and me and jiahui looked at each other with the we-won? look.

AHHAH so happy please. we have a free sakae buffet waiting for us. oh and alot of snacks too. which we eventually gave out to everyone else. haha

i was so sad to have to leave pulau ubin. i think i didnt really explore it lor. we were only at one part of the island. next time we should go there and explore the rest of the island!!!

after that, we went to tamp to meet eric and mag for dinner at cartel. the food was kinda bad, and we swore never to eat there again.

haha. mag ended the night with a sudden jerk from her sleep and saying she needs to go home and things like she stays very far from tamp. hurriedly took her bag and left. HAHAH it was really so funny cos she looked like she was sleep talking and sleep walking .we didnt even have time to react and zoom shes outta cartel alrdy. HAHA

so thats end of pulau ubin adventure day.

alright . im off to watch heroes.

p.s. i just came back from dinner/supper at 85 awhile ago. met up with cally jiaxin and julian. the standards dropped and im very sad.

p.p.s. my ipod classic was delivered yesterday! im very excitedly uploading songs and movies. ha ha

p.p.p.s.we also got back our gpa for sem 1. i got pi for my gpa. go figure out what that means. haha
